Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy uses guided hypnosis to unlock your subconscious in a calm, therapeutic environment.

In a calm, focused space you can gently shift old patterns, ease inner struggles, and reconnect with your sense of possibility.

Hypnotherapy enables you to detach your attention, focus on your inner resources and overcome barriers to your well-being.

Combining elements of traditional talking therapy with the calming, inward focus of hypnosis, sessions with Emma guide you into a deeply relaxed, yet aware state – often described as a bit like being fully absorbed in a book or a daydream. In this space, your conscious mind can quieten, allowing you to explore challenges, release stuck patterns, and absorb more helpful suggestions at a deeper level.

Emma begins each session by listening carefully to what you’re struggling with and what you’d like to change – whether that’s anxiety, low confidence, unwanted habits, past experiences that feel hard to move on from, or simply a sense of feeling stuck. From there, she gently guides you into a relaxed, receptive state using soothing imagery and verbal cues. While in this state, you remain fully in control – you’ll hear everything that’s said, and you’re always free to accept or reject any suggestion. Hypnotherapy is not something that’s “done to you” – it’s a collaborative process that invites your inner mind to come on board with the change you want.

People often come to hypnotherapy when talking alone doesn’t feel quite enough. Emma uses this approach to help with a wide range of emotional and behavioural concerns, from phobias, sleep issues, and stress-related symptoms like IBS or migraines, to deeper emotional wounds such as trauma, shame, or unresolved grief. It can also be a valuable tool for building confidence, managing performance nerves, improving focus, or navigating life transitions with more ease and clarity.

Emma brings the same warmth and care to hypnotherapy that she offers in all her work. You’ll never be rushed or pushed – you’ll be supported, gently and respectfully, at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re hoping to ease anxiety, let go of unhelpful patterns, or step into a more confident version of yourself, hypnotherapy can help you reconnect with your own inner strength and calm.

Sessions often leave people feeling refreshed, lighter, and more in touch with themselves. And over time, many find that they begin to respond differently – not because they’re trying harder, but because something inside has quietly shifted.
